How Do I Promote My Group?
- Using your business page, post the customized link of your business group (www.facebook.com/groups/yourgroupname) along with a description of the group. Then using BOOST POST, you can push that information out to your defined target audience.
- Educate yourself on how other similar businesses are using Groups. Join their Group and participate by answering questions and offering suggestions. If someone finds your contributions helpful, they are going to click on your post to find out more about your business and likely join your group.
- Offer your business page audience a bonus for joining your group such as an extra discount on their next purchase, a special price for a popular product, a free digital badge, a recipe, a technical whitepaper or something of value and related to the declared focus of the group.
Is FACEBOOK an Effective Marketing Resource for Small Businesses in 2018?
Facebook has become such a huge social platform that it is difficult for their technical staff to manage. Even the brightest minds will struggle to develop systems that work for 2 Billion daily users of varying interests – friends and family vs commercial interests. And don’t forget Facebook is a business with many subsidiary businesses – Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, etc. They acquire these businesses and “integrate their activities to improve services.”*
As a business Facebook must continue to develop features to stay in sync with the demands of their users and the latest technology such as popular mobile apps. Change is inevitable, a truth for all software and cloud solutions that are cutting edge and wish to remain viable.
In short the answer is YES!
Stay the course and adapt to the inevitable changes to the platform.
